Art Deco by the brothers Charles and Ernest Schneider. This model with a long, tapered neck, often called the “Berluze” vase, showcases the craftsmanship of the Épinay-sur-Seine glassworks. The Schneider brothers used the crackled glass technique (achieved by briefly immersing the molten piece in cold water to create microscopic surface cracks, before reheating it). Its dark amber, hot-soldered pedestal base and hand-engraved signature on the foot are hallmarks of authenticity typical of Schneider creations from this Art Deco period.
