The Pippa collection, designed by Rena Dumas (with Peter Coles) for Hermès, dates from the 1980s — this collection of "nomadic" furniture signed by Rena Dumas. Rena Dumas (1937–2009), a Greek interior architect, founded her agency RDAI (Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure) in Paris in 1972, before becoming the dedicated designer for Hermès stores worldwide. The Pippa collection is a set of folding and portable furniture (desk, stool, table...), conceived around the idea of portability — much like campaign furniture.
