Rare set of 10 fine earthenware plates from Valentine (Toulouse)
Octagonal design with a beaded border similar to Creil productions, Montereau, or Choisy-le-Roi
Circa 1830
It is very rare to find this model with the Valentine sunken mark; production dates back to the very early days of the factory, founded in 1822
The set is in good condition,set: minor chipping and pitting along the rim, a few minor scratches from use; one plate is slightly more damaged and has some stains, while the others are in fine condition with a clear, glossy glaze
Plates show very little wear
