Artist: Humberto (1953) & Fernando Campana (1961)
Favela Armchair, designed in 1991 by HUMBERTO (1953) & FERNANDO CAMPANA (1961), Edra edition, circa 2000; this armchair was originally made of natural teak and was repainted by an Italian company in 2010 to suit the customer’s taste. Its cubic structure consists of small pieces of teak nailed onto a wooden frame.
Dimensions: 76 cm high, 65 cm wide, and 63 cm deep.
Very good condition; glides replaced.
History:
An example of this model is held in the collections of the Centre Pompidou in Paris (inv. AM 2003-1-354) and the Metropolitan Museum in New York (inv. 2013.579).
