19th-century Napoleon III Carved Wood And Beveled Glass Liqueur Set, Black Forest

Antique carved wooden liquor cabinet from the second half of the 19th century.
This model features a rectangular structure with extensive glass panels on the front, sides, and lid.
The panels consist of thick glass with wide bevels.
The wooden frame features carved relief decoration characteristic of the naturalistic style typical of so-called Black Forest pieces: vine shoots, vine leaves, foliage, and fruit.
The lid, also glazed and edged with a carved frieze, lifts off completely.
The sides are adorned with scrollwork carved into the wood around the glass panels.
This cabinet was intended to hold a set consisting of decanters and liqueur glasses, which are now missing; it is therefore offered empty and can also be used as a display case or small showcase.
Probably made in the Black Forest, circa 1870–1900.
