Authentic Art Nouveau-era Lamp Made Of Brass And Iridescent Glass In The Loetz Style
A very elegant authentic Art Nouveau-era table lamp, dating from the early 20th century.
It rests on a beautiful brass base with a particularly slender silhouette, featuring the soft, sinuous lines characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic.
The lamp is topped by a remarkable iridescent glass shade, crafted with broad undulations reminiscent of a flower’s corolla. The glass displays superb shades of golden yellow, amber, and deep red, which reach their full intensity when the lamp is lit.
With its dynamic shape, the quality of its glass, and its iridescent effects, this piece is reminiscent of the creations of the great Art Nouveau glassworks of Central Europe, notably Loetz. In the absence of a signature allowing for certain attribution, we cautiously present it as “in the spirit of Loetz”.
A particularly decorative lamp, representative of the Art Nouveau style around 1900, which will fit just as well in a collection as in a refined interior.
