19th-century Chinese Statue
A beautiful, full-relief statue carved from a single piece of teak, depicting a sage with two children and a dragon; features very fine, delicate carving; the eyes of the sage and the dragon are made of ivory and glass; in good condition, circa 1880; has a small crack at the base due to age.
