Late 18th-century Lombard chest of drawers, veneered with striped walnut and inlaid.
Refined Louis XVI (1774 / 92) dresser of Lombard origin, entirely veneered with various types of fine wood, such as walnut, rosewood, cherry, and maple.
Amid the “herringbone” patterns and fillet work, there are two rosettes depicting a goblet supported by cartouches with acanthus leaves, embellished using the fire-shading technique.
The piece is in pristine condition, complete with keys and locks.
