Large Pediment Mirror, Louis XVI Period (height 192 Cm)
An important “entre-deux” mirror in a gilded, molded, and carved wooden frame; rectangular in shape, with spandrel corners, decorated with friezes of pearls and heart-shaped rays, topped by a trapezoidal cartouche with three scrolls from which hangs a garland of laurel leaves (the original mirror consists of two parts; shows signs of wear, small losses, and touch-ups to the gilding).
