Rare Bordeaux earthenware pharmacy jar in a baluster shape with a blue monochrome decoration, featuring two twisted handles; the blue monochrome design is centered within a rocaille cartouche bearing the pharmaceutical inscription: "E. Req; Nicol" surmounted by a cherub’s head; the reverse is adorned with two flowering branches.
Hustin Manufactory. 1715–1720
Early 18th century.
A few small chips along the rim and two small cracks on the neck.
