Gilded solid silver goblet (vermeil)

A goblet resting on a pedestal, made of solid silver and gilded both inside and out. It features an elegant, finely chased design around its entire circumference.
Paris hallmarks: maker’s mark of Etienne Baligny (1703–1708), Jurande P crowned for 1708; hallmark: a crown with a scepter and a hand of justice; small silversmith’s mark on the outside of the foot.
