White porcelain cup with a gold interior, set in an openwork and chiseled vermeil mount, crafted by ODIOT.

The mount features a floral and bacchanalian design consisting notably of vine leaves, grape clusters, ears of grain, and foliage. The handle is adorned with a coiling foliage motif. A figurative motif is also incorporated into the design on one of the sides.

The setting bears several hallmarks and marks:

Minerva hallmark, 1st title, 950/1000 French silver
Master’s mark
“ODIOT” written in full
“PRÉVOST & Cie” inscription ”
Number 7624

The porcelain cup is unsigned. It features a gilded interior and a gilded border along the upper rim.

The cup is removable and fits securely into its setting. Once in place, the bottom of the cup does not fully touch the bottom of the setting: there is a gap of approximately 2 mm.

Diameter: approximately 5.5 cm
Weight of the vermeil mount alone: approximately 73 g

Condition: very good overall condition.
No damage or missing parts observed. Slight signs of wear consistent with the piece’s age.
