Greek physician’s head hallmark used between 1838 and 1919 and a goldsmith’s hallmark that is difficult to decipher.
Two eyelets, also made of gold.
The shaft is made of rosewood, a precious wood prized for its density and beauty.
Metal ferrule replaced at a later date.
It is in very good condition.
