A magnificent oil painting by the Bordeaux artist Louis Marius Gueit (1877–1956), a student of Louis Cabié. This painting is a beautiful showcase of his talent, depicting the Arcachon Bay with its “pinasses,” the boats typical of the area. A work of exceptional quality. The painting is signed and dated “43.” In very good condition! (Minor touch-ups needed in a few spots.) A Montparnasse frame is included and needs to be adjusted to fit the painting!
