Cruet and vinegar in silver from the late eighteenth century. Here is for me one of the most beautiful model in the form of fully pierced shuttle. The purpose stunning design is in perfect condition and loaded punches. Each removable portion bears the mark of the master goldsmith and the hallmark "Woman's Head" (1795-1797), the punch of said "first rooster" (1798-1809) or the punch of "big guarantee 'man front. The punches are very hit and therefore quite legible. lion paw skates announces the empire style will happen a few years later. The subject never having been re-polished keeps its traces of manufacture of another century. Perfect testimony of a very different requirement from that of our time, when the evidence of the handmade work were of quality. The ultimate finishing (polishing) were therefore reserved for visible parts. The item measures 26 cm long 27 cm high 11 cm wide and weighs 577 grams net money first title. Cruets measure within supports a diameter of 68 mm high and 6 cm in diameter haut.Le inside bottom is 55 mm. Very nice piece of jewelry.
