Corozo Long Necklace
Long necklace made of 65 corozo beads (vegetable ivory, derived from the nut of a South American palm tree).
The necklace consists of large, spherical beads carved with a regular pattern, along with turned spacers, all connected by metal links.
Beautiful natural patina, sturdy construction. Note that 6 beads are slightly cracked, though this does not affect the necklace’s overall strength.
French craftsmanship from the early 20th century.
