A pair of bisque porcelain busts depicting Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, King and Queen of France; on the back of the King’s bust is a Sèvres signature; the bases are surrounded by a thin gilt-bronze mold, and beneath the base is inscribed the date “February 1908” and a name; the busts are likely older, inspired by models created by Louis Simon for the Sèvres Manufactory around 1785
