Fanny Gambogi (born Fanny Taillefer, 1825–1911) was a 19th-century French painter from Toulouse. She is best known for her genre scenes, her elegant portraits, and her participation in the Parisian Salons of the time
Born Fanny Taillefer on January 13, 1825, in Toulouse, she initially worked in her native region (Toulouse, Auch) before settling in the Paris region, notably in Paris (rue de Douai) and in Clichy-la-Garenne.

  • She was married to the Neapolitan-born painter Émile Gambogi (1819–1895).
  • Throughout her career, she received several awards in the provinces, including a medal in Auch in 1863 and an honorable mention in Toulon in 1873.
