The work consists of three silkscreen prints (in a cardboard box) with text in English (original title: “We have created atypical systems”) and six photographs depicting the artist, each individually framed.
On the back of the three silkscreen prints in English, numbered sequentially, are the edition number 13/15, the date 1974, and the artist’s signature; they are accompanied by three unsigned silkscreen prints with text in Italian.
Cioni Carpi, a Milanese artist engaged in conceptual and minimalist art, produced works in which imagination, sensitivity, and expressive flair were fundamental.
His creativity also found expression in photography, installations, video, drawing, writing, artist’s books, as well as painting.
