Henri Autran is a painter from Provence; born in Marseille, he spent much of his life in the village of Tourtour, located in the Var department. Lush green landscapes, village houses, and strollers have been the favorite subjects of his paintings. His naive and poetic style is also highly expressionistic, characterized by bold colors and the use of black. His works are featured in numerous private collections and at the Cantini Museum in Marseille.
