French Mid-Century Alabaster Table Lamp with a Carved, Strict-Geometric Face, 1960s

The lamp has a clear, almost archaic appearance.
The base (diameter at the bottom 12 cm) is conical in shape and has a ribbed, open-pored surface. The striking face at the front is reminiscent of Art Deco forms, with all levels
of the face designed using straight, geometric surfaces.
The shade has a linear, ribbed surface and is also slightly conical (diameter at the bottom 21 cm - at the top 22.5 cm).
The almost straight shape of the shade perfectly complements the austere figure and sits on an iron bracket.
Weight 11.5 kg, newly electrified.
