Albert GENTA
Albert Genta was a French painter specializing in the nude, born on September 13, 1901, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris and died on September 5, 1989, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
He was the preeminent painter of the female nude, both in his own works and in illustration and the press.
In March 1941, he exhibited a nude titled “Sleeping Woman2” at the Salon des Indépendants.
He was also the author of numerous books, such as “Drawing Taught by Example” (1949).
His works have been sold at public auctions 158 times, primarily in the Painting category.
