We are pleased to present this splendid oil painting on plywood, dating from the early 20th century. This magnificent work is signed at the bottom center: G. Ceragioli. The signature is attributed to the Italian painter Giorgio Ceragioli (Porto Santo Stefano, April 28, 1861 – Turin, December 11, 1947).

This charming oval painting celebrates the Baroque and Rococo styles with a luminous and festive allegorical scene. Three nude children, artistically known as cherubs, play at the center of the scene. A rich variety of colorful flowers—roses, red poppies, and peonies—surrounds the children.
