Léon Blanchot (1868–1947)
was a French sculptor of the Belle Époque, trained at the Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux and later in Paris.
He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français and distinguished himself in both monumental sculpture and artistic bronzes, where he revealed a pronounced taste for female figures of great delicacy.
