A remarkable 19th-century find from Italy, with a fascinating history. For years, this authentic antique table stood outdoors under a tree, serving as a place to relax and enjoy a drink from time to time. The passage of time has given it a character and aesthetic that are impossible to replicate.
Thanks to its timeless charm, this antique Italian table fits perfectly into any interior style, whether modern and minimalist spaces or rustic or classic decor. The original white marble tabletop rests on an impressive hand-forged tripod base, richly adorned with graceful griffins, twisted columns, and an elegant spiral culminating in a refined finial. Over the decades, the marble tabletop has developed a beautiful natural patina, making each table truly one-of-a-kind.
The tabletop simply rests on the base. If desired, it can be permanently secured using a suitable adhesive or double-sided foam tape; however, we have chosen to leave it removable to ensure safe transport. The wrought-iron base has been carefully stripped of thick rust and treated with a protective black wax, thus preserving its authentic appearance.
The table shows normal signs of wear given its age and history, including a small crack in the marble. This in no way affects its stability; the table is sturdy, in good condition, and ready for immediate use.
