Napoleon I Bust Medallion, Bisque Porcelain, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory Of Sèvres
A superb antique medallion depicting the profile of Napoleon I in porcelain biscuit on a blue background, set in an elegant circular gilded bronze frame decorated with foliage.
The reverse bears the red mark “M. Imp.le de Sèvres” as well as an old handwritten inscription.
The piece is in good overall condition. The biscuit is well preserved. The frame has a visible chip along the edge. There are some signs of wear and soiling on the gilding. A few small spots are visible on the blue background, as well as on the reverse and on the bust.
