Total length: 27.5; Blade length: 16 cm
Straight, double-edged blade with a central ridge.
Straight, diamond-shaped guard, marked on the underside ‘LE COMMANDO INOX MARQUE & MODELE DEPOSES SUPER-NOGENT’.
Iron tang with twenty-five flutes.
Leather scabbard with belt loop and iron ferrule.
Weapon used by the Marine Commandos (Fumacos = Fusiliers de Marine Commandos) during the Algerian War (circa 1957–62).
