Art Nouveau Stained-glass Quadriptych With Transom, Circa 1900
Set of four Art Nouveau stained-glass panels (circa 1900) with transom, mounted in wooden frames. Decorated with roses, wisteria, and polychrome foliage.
Antique Art Nouveau set, in its original condition. Defects to note: the wood of the frames shows patina, signs of wear, scratches, and occasional imperfections in the finish; lead framework to be inspected (antique stained-glass windows of this size may have weakened lead joints, slight clouding, or cracked/restored glass)—inspection by a master glassmaker is recommended prior to reinstallation; some of the glass in the upper sections is translucent cathedral or textured glass.
Heavy and monumental piece: removal, transport, and reinstallation must be handled by professionals. Sold as-is.
