Rudolf Konopa was an Austrian painter born in Vienna in 1864 and who died in Scheilles in 1938. A landscape painter and member of the Vienna Academy since 1881, he was a friend of Bachelin and a member of the Viennese
Hugenland artists’ group.
He exhibited at the 1904 Grand International Salon in Paris.
