A beautiful miniature from the Directoire period, depicting a man wearing a blue frock coat, a white shirt, and a white knotted cravat. Our miniature is signed by Jeanne Doucet de Surigny (1762–1823), who exhibited at the Salon of Painting and Sculpture from 1791 to 1806.
