Sheraton Sideboard By G. Stoppino & L. Acerbis, Manufactured By Acerbis In The 1970s
Sheraton sideboard designed by Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis for Acerbis International, a 1977 design that won the Compasso d'Oro award in 1979. The piece is crafted from walnut wood in its most refined version and features a spacious top and four storage compartments concealed behind two doors. The piece stands out for its original opening system, which innovatively combines sliding doors and hinged doors—a technical and aesthetic solution that is one of the project’s defining features. The Acerbis International brand is featured in three different ways: engraved on the hinges, via an adhesive label on the back panel, and with the Acerbis logo applied to the first drawer.
