Sizeable Pink Flamingos Barbotine
Galerie Georgette Art Nouveau presents a rare Barbotine featuring two pink flamingos from the Tay Workshops in Monza, Italy. This Barbotine was produced in the 1950s or 1960s by Giuseppe Tagliarol, better known by his trade name Bepi Tay and famous for his bird sculptures. The Tay Workshops’ signature appears on the base of the figurine. The figurine is in perfect condition and is quite large, standing 60 cm tall. The sculpture is exquisitely crafted, with vibrant colors primarily in shades of white, with gradations of pink and green. A beautiful decorative piece.
