Henri Léopold Bessagnet, born in Bordeaux (Gironde) on July 11, 1907, a student of Pierre Ferret at the Regional School of Architecture in Bordeaux, admitted to the 2nd class on March 13, 1929, earned a total of 20½ awards, including 1 Third Medal in ornamental drawing, 1st class on July 21, 1931, earning a total of 15 awards, including 1 First Medal and 1 Second Medal in rendered projects; graduated on November 15, 1933 (155th graduating class, A Rural Church in Soule (Basque Country), grade 3, First Prize for Best Diploma in 1934, S.A.D.G.
