Iridescent Vase With Poppy Design. Legras
A design featuring poppy flowers, crafted from blown glass and featuring multi-layered acid-etched work by master glassmaker François-Théodore Legras (1839–1916) of the Nancy School in Lorraine, eastern France.
This multi-layered pâte de verre vase was made in the very early 20th century at the Legras & Cie crystal factory in Montjoye, France. The vase is over 100 years old!
The design is thoroughly documented and illustrated in the famous *Répertoire Raisonné Legras*
"Verrerie Artistique et Populaire Française." The vase is neither signed nor stamped.
