Here is a classic example of Napoleon III-era 18-karat gold earrings, inspired by Etruscan design. These solid gold earrings feature the tassel motifs so popular during that period. Circa 1860/1880.
The gold is accented with Onyx and small Pearls; and fringe detail.
It should be noted that Antique earrings are particularly difficult to find, as they are often lost or shared among sisters within families.
These Earrings are in excellent condition, although the Onyx in one of them has a tiny chip.
