Large 19th-century Aubusson Rug, 360 X 268 Cm
Artist: Manufacture Aubusson
Large, low-pile rug woven from wool on a cotton foundation using the tapestry technique, featuring a central floral medallion, bouquets in the spandrels, and wide borders resembling moldings.
In its original dimensions and in good condition with no tears or repairs; however, PLEASE NOTE that like any antique woven rug (and not modern reproductions... which one might see elsewhere...), this rug shows minor signs of wear from age; some loose knots, and minor stains from age
But in very good overall condition for its age,
An Aubusson piece from the mid-19th century, the Louis-Philippe/Napoleon III era
Dimensions: 360 cm x 268 cm
