A very lovely pair of monogrammed Malagasy watercolors; A.R. A charming subject featuring a landscape of rice paddies and farmers. In good overall condition! In their original state. One is mounted under glass and the other is not. 19 cm in diameter with the circular wooden frame and 15 cm without it. Probably by Albert Ranaivoson, a well-known and sought-after artist from Madagascar.
