Earthenware birdcage; inside is a small earthenware bird.
The cage has been converted into a lamp (easy to restore to its original condition).
Made in the Delft (Holland) style, round in shape and resting on 6 round legs.
Presumably a French piece, likely from the Samson factory in Paris.
Dated to the late 19th–early 20th century.
Height of the cage = 52 cm; with its chain, approximately 1 meter.
Diameter: 26 cm
The cage is in good condition; needs cleaning (dust).
