Dining Room, Table + 2 Armchairs And 6 Bamboo Chairs, 1970s/80s Design By Mac Guire, Signed
Large dining set made of carved bamboo with a transparent green patina, consisting of a table with a glass top resting on two large, very stable legs, as well as 6 chairs and 2 armchairs…
In good condition, but with three small chips that have been restored and are still visible along the edge of the tabletop.
The absolute embodiment of the laid-back chic of the 1970s and 1980s, this prestigious complete dining set by McGuire San Francisco is a rare collector’s item on the market.
The set stands out for its remarkable work in curved, weathered bamboo.
The dining table features two imposing, graphic double legs supporting a generous, oblong glass top.
It is accompanied by six matching chairs and two matching formal armchairs. Please note: Although the set is in beautiful, well-used condition, three small chips on the edge of the glass have been restored (visible in the detailed photographs), which in no way detracts from the splendor and sturdiness of this magnificent piece of modernist design.
