A 5-strand choker necklace featuring 360 round, well-calibrated freshwater pearls; the strands are held together by two silver separators, creating a ribbon-like effect around the neck.
Freshwater pearls are composed entirely of mother-of-pearl produced by the mollusk. They are the result of an implant but are not nucleated, meaning they do not have an artificial nucleus at their center.
The silky appearance of these pearls comes from the uniform density of the mother-of-pearl.
They often have a silky, baroque appearance, recognizable by their small imperfections.
