Blue Hué Chinese Porcelain
Artist: à Définir Signé
A magnificent jar with a double lid made of Chinese porcelain known as “Hue blue.” Decorated with figures; in generally good condition. Two small chips. Magnificent colors, particularly the cobalt blue. Origin: Hanoi, Vietnam. Place of production: Hue, the country’s former capital. But in reality, most of the porcelain came from China. This is likely a spice jar, given the protective lids! Dimensions: 11.5 cm tall by 10 cm in diameter. Visually, a very pretty antique piece! Both decorative and functional!
