Quiver and its blowpipe arrows – some weighted at the base with a small plant cone – used for hunting monkeys and small game.
It consists of two cylindrical sections of bamboo – one forming the snap-on lid and the other the body; decorated with an engraved design resembling a mountain.
Double bindings of plaited plant fibres, one of which holds a carved wooden hook which, whilst walking, allowed it to be suspended from the belt or loincloth.
Provenance: Former French private collection.
