18th-century Trumeau
A very beautiful 18th-century trumeau made of lacquered wood and gilded wood, consisting of two parts. This trumeau is in its original condition with no restoration (please note a small chip in the paint on one of the figures; see photo). The maritime rescue scene is beautifully rendered, and the frame is entirely gilded wood (olive branches). A trumeau for enthusiasts of period furniture.
