The Glass (Daum) is a magnificent marbled glass paste in intense shades of saffron yellow and bright orange, enriched with precious intercalated inclusions of gold leaf (gold flakes) that beautifully catch the light.
The glass was blown directly on the fly inside its iron cage, creating these highly sought-after, characteristic lobed bubbles.
The Ironwork (Majorelle), a high-quality hammered wrought-iron frame, designed specifically by Louis Majorelle for this blown glass piece. The structure is solid and sound.
The Double Signature is perfectly authentic and clearly visible, wheel-engraved beneath the base: "Daum ☨ Nancy France" with the Cross of Lorraine, accompanied by "L. Majorelle".
Excellent overall condition. No cracks, no chips, no restoration. Beautiful luster and superb translucency.
Iron frame, original patina with slight traces of natural oxidation. Sound and perfectly stable structure.
