Georges Stein (1864–1917) Prix Des Drags à Auteuil
Traditionally held in the middle of "Grande Semaine"—that is, between the Grand Steeple Chase de Paris and the Grand Prix de Paris—the Prix des Drags, as its name suggests, consisted of a spectacular day beginning with the arrival at the Auteuil racetrack of sumptuous carriages that had set out from the Étoile, carrying the elegant and sportsmen who had come to attend this consolation race for the Grand Steeple.
