Small vase in the calypso diabolo style, openwork and etched with a lively pastoral scene.
Soliflore-style vase listed in the catalogue raisonné by Michel Fourchet / Editions Vitra, under number 263.
It is described as follows: square diabolo bouquet vase with flat, pinched sides, featuring a yellow-amber base in gradients and brownish-pink tones. The design is etched with a shepherdess and her sheep.
It is signed "Legras" in cameo style toward the bottom.
Period: circa 1900, early 20th century.
Condition: good condition, little to no wear; note a tiny chip on the neck, about the size of a pinhead and without depth (see photos).

Base: 4 x 3.9 cm.
