Spectacular late 19th century decorative set comprising a large planter and matching presentation column in enameled barbotine
.The piece features a superb brilliant glaze of intense turquoise blue
.The decoration is magnified by a rich work of floral applications in high relief and lush foliage climbing up the shaft
Although unsigned, as is often the case for these pieces due to the thickness of the glaze or the loss of the original labels, the architectural form and chromatic palette allow us to confidently attribute this work to the great faience manufacturers of Northern France, most probably the Fives-Lille Gustave de Bruyn factory
