Description:
An elegant and rare pair of gilt bronze wall sconces with two candle arms. Their asymmetrical Rocaille-style structure is adorned with foliate motifs. The original gilding, partially matte and polished, highlights the fine bronze work.
This model is inspired by the creations of Jacques Caffieri (1678-1755), a prominent French goldsmith and sculptor of the 18th century.
