Henri Taurel, born July 31, 1843 in Maignelay, where he died November 26, 1927, was a French painter.Henri Edmond Adon Taurel was the son of Prosper Taurel, a tax collector, and Sébastienne Élisabeth Lalo.A pupil of Villa, he exhibited at the Salon from 1865 to 1882. In 1875, he married Marie Augustine Refuveille in Maignelay.he died at the age of 84.
