An important 18th-century Italian mirror in carved, molded, stuccoed, and gilded wood.
The upper section is embellished with a child’s bust set within a decorative frame, flanked by cornucopias ending in bouquets of fruit. The sides feature two cherubs with drapery, set against a background decorated with branch and leaf motifs. A decorative mask is present at the bottom.
In the center is the mirror, enclosed by a frame adorned with leaf-motif friezes.
